TITLE: Israel needs to return to life with their God.
Regarding: Where is Israel's future?
Our Israeli ambassador in Sweden, Eviator Manor, spoke to the Swedish public at ABF-huset in Stockholm 2006-02-16. The Israeli ambassador’s vision for a jewish, democratic, prosperous, secure and peaceful State of Israel would of course be shared with most Israelis and commonly also with anyone of decency. However, the ambassador’s analysis of the Israeli society as that of development of a new Israeli ethos (character, beliefs or moral nature) surely would disturb both Jews and Christians alike. He describes an upcoming national identity crisis and a new national “mood” with emergence of a liberal people longing for “a new lifestyle” and “a new adventure”. He describes the Israeli military commander as the definition of borders of Israel and denies Biblical definitions of Israeli borders.
However, Israel must not again deny its divine commander to which both Knesset and IDF ought to submit. Israel should remember from Biblical history that its future ultimately depends on God alone. There is no liberation from God without a curse, but there is blessing from God in worship and obedience to Him. There will not be a secure peace for Israel in its abandonment of God, but peace for any Jew or Arab will dawn exclusively through the grace of the Messiah Jesus Christ from Nazareth. Final, eternal and universal peace commences at His return to Israel.
Descendents to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob ought not to deny their God, but instead believe His promises, accept a valid land-inheritance (Numbers 34:1-12) and pray for the everlasting peace through Israel’s Messiah Jesus Christ - of whom the prophet Isaiah foretold.
May all nations bless the beloved people of Israel and worship the God of Israel.
