CBC News 040819

TITLE: Potential risk of Canadians banned from Heaven’s ceremonies.
Regarding: Bibles banned from citizenship ceremonies

CBC informs (19/8) that Bibles are now banned from citizenship ceremonies. CBC News states the following: “Citizenship and Immigration Canada has banned the Canadian Bible Society from giving out Bibles at citizenship ceremonies, saying the practice is not consistent with the federal government's secular nature.”

The CBC report cites a supportive subject saying “many people come to this country specifically because it is secular”. The claimant naturally neither specifies estimated or exact numbers of “many”, nor mentions any of the many other categories of popular reasons for Canadian immigration.

Canada is, however, one of the greatest nations primarily because of:
1) God’s gift of vast geographical territories, breathtaking landscapes and natural resources to the Canadian state
2) God’s created beauty -- reflected in Canada's diverse natural environments
3) God’s great grace to Canadians by forgiving individual’s sins through Jesus Christ the Messiah
4) God’s provision of instructions for life in Canada through His holy scriptures
5) born-again Canadian Christians’ provision of Bibles, Christian education and discipleship
6) Canadians’ biblical values that are rooted in Canadian society, culture, and families
7) many Canadians’ recognition of the prospering importance of blessing God’s Holy Land Israel.

The Canadian federal government should avoid following a path similar to the secularly destructive ways of Sweden. Canada ought instead to quickly revert to a God-loving and God-fearing nation, mentioning God with thanksgiving at every occasion.

May Canada continue to be blessed,

Torsten Nenzén
