TITLE: Senator Kerry's campaign for abortion rights
Regarding: CBS News - Kerry Campaign & Catholicism
It appears that Senator Kerry supports abortion rights, and thereby naturally engages support for opposition against ethical and divine truth. A CBS Evening News (10/4) journalist (Jim Axelrod) reported the following statement: ”…church leaders need to be careful, and not just to avoid a back-lash by those who think Kerry is being bullied…”. Joe Feuerherd, US Catholic Leader, responded: “…it’s a different thing to have distanced yourself from the head of a major super-power when you have world interests like the Catholic church does.”
United States of America, and hence the rest of the world, need not to be careful of bullying the head of a major super-power, but rather need to be careful of trespassing the confines of righteousness and holiness, and thereby avoiding the back-lash of divine power and justice. Abortion is unjust termination of innocent human life – and is therefore murder. Murder is a sin against God. Governmental approval of immorality undermines the government’s moral authority, and the health of the state.
